Public Information Meeting

As a part of the AA National Convention 2012, a free seminar is being provided for the professional community and members of the general public who would like to learn more about the illness of alcoholism, recovery, and the program Alcoholics Anonymous. Hosted by Mike Munro, who will be sharing his story “Growing up with alcoholism”, this seminar brings together experts from around Australia. Attendees are welcome to stay for the Convention’s Opening Ceremony at 7:30.

The seminor will be held from 5:30 - 7:15pm, Thurs 5th April at Plenary 1, Melbourne Convention Centre

This is a free PD event and registration is not required.

About Alcholics Anonymous, the organisation

In addition to the experts listed above, an AA member & an Al-Anon member will each share their story.
The session will end with brief presentation around how AA is working with treatment centres, hospitals, prisons and schools.
